Local Policy Lab Fellowship Programme

Launched in 2024 as part of the Local Policy Lab, the Lab's Fellowship programme pairs graduate students from the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University with a local policy partner to conduct research with the goal of supporting evidence-based policymaking in Oxfordshire.

Applications now closed for 2026 

Local Policy Lab was recruiting graduate students from the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University for its 2026 Fellowship. Fellows will work with county and district council policy officers on 10-week research projects tackling policy challenges in the following thematic areas: 

  • Enabling children and young people to thrive
  • Delivering inclusive growth, a skilled workforce, and fair employment
  • Ensuring a healthy standard of living for all
