Senior Impact and Engagement Manager

Charlotte Medland is Senior Impact and Engagement Manager, based in the Divisional Office and leading the Research Impact Facilitator team. Charlotte also works closely with colleagues across the wider Research, Impact and Engagement team on training, projects and events, as well as colleagues based in departments and other Divisions across the University.

Charlotte coordinates the impact and engagement training offer from the Division, as well as impact planning and support for REF. She is one of the primary points of contact for support and advice on research impact and engagement, has supported impact planning, delivery and evaluation for a variety of research projects from multi-million UKRI and ERC grants to internally-funded PCER and KE activities, and is passionate about responsible evaluation and engagement as a core element of good research practice.
