Researchers based at University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) have engaged with city policymakers across Europe in a pioneering programme of city working groups; facilitating knowledge exchange and engagement with the aim of supporting European cities' responses to irregular migrants as well as the inclusion of migrants in the UK.

Explore the illustration below to discover how these unique working groups have enabled policymakers to deliver real change in their cities; ranging from improved provision for homeless and vulnerable migrants, and improvements to wider social cohesion and crime prevention, to benefits in the policy sphere such new city strategies and additional funding opportunities - all whilst feeding back valuable knowledge and experiences into further research.
